Robert Humberger Obituary
Robert "Bob" E. Humberger, 90 of Fremont, OH passed away on Saturday July 3, 2021.
Bob was born October 21, 1930 to Mildred L. (Tyson) and Arthur Solomon Humberger. He married Barbara A. Huston in Nogales, Az on July 9, 1950 and she passed away on March 23, 2008. Bob then remarried to Marcia Kittle on December 26, 2009 and she passed away June 7, 2021. Bob is survived by his children Stephen, Deborah, Scott(Lupe), Jennifer(Scott) and his 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Robert was preceded in death by his wives, Barbara and Marcia, his parents Mildred and Arthur, his brothers, Glen and Donald and sister Marjorie.
Bob graduated from the Gibsonburg High School, worked at Standard Products in Port Clinton, served as a poll worker in Fremont, did volunteer work at the Fremont Memorial Hospital, and worked on restoring a C47 airplane at the Damshroder Airport. Bob proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 1948-1954 working on repairing bombers during the Korean War. Bob was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Fremont.
Visitation for Bob will be on Thursday, July 8, 2021 from 5:00-7:00 PM in the Hanneman-Chudzinski-Keller Funeral Home, 416 S. Arch St., Fremont, Ohio 43420. Bob's Celebration of Life Service will be on Friday, July 9, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home. Interment with Military Honors will follow in the Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Clyde.
Memorials can be made to the Audubon Society, 3910 Perkins Ave, Huron, Ohio 44839 or to the VFW, 204 Birchard Ave., Fremont, Ohio 43420.
