Robert Earl Humphreys, Jr., 61, of Resaca, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2024. He was born in Fairfax, Virginia, on November 7, 1963, to Sylvia Davis Humphreys and the late Robert Earl Humphreys, Sr. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Blair Haines.

He is survived by his mother, Sylvia Humphreys; mother of his children, Cynthia Shepard; sons, James Garnham, David (Brenda) Humphreys, Austin (Addison) George; daughters, Michelle (Jacob) Williams, Kristin (Joseph) Burchett; brothers, Kevin Haines, Terry Haines; sister, Julia Harman; grandchildren, Dylan Garnham, Derek Garnham, Heidi Garnham, Preslie Garnham, Journie Rice, James Ryder Garnham, Stella Jean Garnham, Isaac Burchett, Trevor Humphreys, Kamilah Huera.

Robert was a loving person, and a Dad that didn’t have to be. He loved to hunt and to be outside. He was witty and had a goofy sense of humor. He was the hardest working person and the best tile setter you could find.

A gathering of friends will be held on Sunday, January 12, 2025, at 3:00 PM at the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
