Dr. Robert Toy "Bob" Hurt III

On January 4, 2024, Dr. Robert (Bob) Toy Hurt III, age 57, passed away unexpectedly in Cordele, GA. He was the son of Dr. Robert Toy Hurt Jr. and Glynes Hurt. Bob loved his profession as a Dentist. His patients were special to him and he cared for them thoroughly. His appreciation for the outdoors was experienced in his passion for managing deer and hunting them. Bob enjoyed traveling and one of his favorite ways to travel was on cruise ships because he loved to surf on the Flow Rider recreational activity. He loved his family and supported them in every way. He was a member of Pinecrest Baptist Church. Bob is survived by his precious wife of 34 years, Joycelyn; three sons, Robert (Rob) Hurt IV and his wife, Raquel, of Kennesaw, GA, Cole Hurt, and Aultman Hurt, and his fiancee, Maitland McGough, all of Cordele; one sister, Dr. Gina Lynelle Hurt of Marietta, GA; and one grandchild, Loriana Hurt. The family will be receiving friends at Pinecrest Baptist Church in Cordele on Saturday, January 13, 2024, from 1:00 until 3:00 pm with a memorial service following at the church at 3:00 pm.
