Robert Huskey

Robert Huskey passed away peacefully at home Saturday, December 6, 2025, In Lake Jackson, Texas. He was born in Blevins, Arkansas on March 23, 1943, at his grandmother's house to Justin Harold and Era Gorham Huskey,

The Family moved to Highlands, Texas where Bob grew up. He graduated from Robert E Lee Highschool in Baytown, Texas in 1961, then the University of Texas in 1965. He worked as a Chemical Engineer at Down Chemical for 32 years. He retired in 1997.

In 1966 Bob Married Sara Linda Putman and began a marriage of 59 Years. Bob and Linda have two children, Stephen Robert Huskey of Lake Jackson and Melanie Catherine Huskey Griffin (Michael) of Eugene, Oregon.

We have been blessed with wonderful families who are also friends, and friends who are more like family. Bob enjoyed these special people at ball games, golfing, hunting and often traveling with them.

We will gather one last time to celebrate Bob, remembering his smile, his laughter, and his kindness.

Preceded in death are his parents, Harold and Era Huskey; brother, Thomas Huskey; sister-in-law, Barbara Huskey; sister, Martha Huskey Keyes; brother- in-Law, Alvin Keyes; mother-in-law Blanche Putman; and father-in-law, Buster Putman.

Surviving Bob are wife, Linda Huskey; son, Stephen Huskey; daughter, Melanie Huskey Griffin; son-in-law, Michael Griffin; grandson, Jackson Griffin; brother-in-law Chuck Putman (Linda) and sister-in- law, Sherrye Hatch.

The memorial will be held at Sterling White funeral home, 11011 Crosby Lynchburg RD Highlands, Tx 77562.

The Visitation will be December 29, 2025, at 12 p.m. and the service at 1 P.m.
