Robert James Hutcheson Sr.

Robert James Hutcheson, Sr., age 67, passed away at this home, Monday, November 4th, 2024. Robert was raised in Ponchatoula, LA. He was born on May 24th, 1957 in Hammond, LA. He then was a resident of Tickfaw, LA for 40 years. Robert was a good provider. He drove an 18 wheeler most of all he enjoyed driving and seeing the world until he retired. Robert enjoyed fishing and going to car shows. He was also a member of the Northshore Mustang Club. Robert also loved his best friend, his dog, Bear. 

He was a loving and devoted husband of 37 years, to his late wife, Kathie Jo Curry Hutcheson. Robert had one son, Robert James Hutcheson II and his wife Carla. He is survived by his two grandsons, Robert Michael Hutcheson and Jordan Milton. Robert loved and cherished his nieces and nephews. He is survived by one sister, Cynthia Pritchard; and one brother, Josephus Earl Hutcheson. 

Robert is preceded in death by his baby brother, William Charles Hutcheson. He is also preceded in death by his loving parents, Ernest and Thera Hutcheson.

All family would also like to give a huge thanks to Roberts caretaker and best friend, Diana Gros.
