A Graveside Service will be held at Arlington Memorial Park in Sandy Springs, Georgia on May 24, 2025, at 1 p.m.
Rob was born on January 18, 1967, in Atlanta, Georgia, and graduated from Presbyterian College with a degree in Political Science. He retired in 1994 as a Captain in the United States Army after serving from 1989 to 1994 in Germany and Kuwait. During his service he proudly earned his Ranger Tab, Parachutist Badge, Air Assault Badge, Army Commendation Medal, and Southwest Asia Service Medal with Bronze Service Star, among other decorations.
Rob Innes-or Buster, to his many Army buddies-will be remembered for his fierce leadership, dependability, and practicality. Rob spent over 30 years in industrial sales, where he was known for fostering meaningful relationships with customers and colleagues alike. Rob loved crosswords, old friends, and war novels. He also appreciated a thoughtful thank-you note, a healthy debate, and a well-secured footlocker. He is survived by his children, Stewart Innes and Clare Innes.
His family asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) in Rob's memory.

I never met Rob, but in doing business with him I got to understand him. To me he was a very secure and trustworthy person. We develop a business trust amongst each other that was definitely old school. I felt like he was a friend from my grade school days. His kind is few and far he was a very special person robert baldwin Kentucky.
