Robert Michael "Bob" Johnson, born October 11, 1963, in Owosso, Michigan, to the late William Harold Johnson and Ruth Ann (Pallaschke) Morecroft, passed away peacefully at his home in Corunna on November 17, 2023. Bob was a man of many talents and interests, known for his kindness, his handy skills, and his unwavering dedication to his family and friends.
Bob graduated from Owosso High School in 1982, where he formed lifelong friendships, including his best friend since high school, Bob Brandt. After graduation, Bob embarked on a career in construction trades and building, proving himself a hard worker who would help anyone who needed it. He spent many years working at US Brick and later drove a semi-truck, showcasing his versatility and commitment to providing for his family.
On June 9, 1990, Bob married the love of his life, Michelle Lynn Bitterman, at Our Lady Catholic Church in Chesaning. Their marriage of 33 years was a testament to their enduring love and mutual respect. Together, they raised three children: Michael Robert (Jessica) Johnson, William Joseph (Taylor Mowen) Johnson, and Megan Lynn (Kevin Bergeron) Johnson. Bob was a devoted father who took great pride in his children's accomplishments and cherished every moment spent with his family.
Bob was a man of many interests. He had a keen sense of humor and always had a dad joke ready to bring a smile to anyone's face. He was a collector of HO trains, a hobby that showcased his meticulous nature and attention to detail. Bob was a perfectionist in everything he did, whether it was his work or his hobbies. He had a deep love for NASCAR racing and fishing, finding joy and relaxation in these activities. Bob was also very good at auto body work, a skill he honed over the years with remarkable precision and expertise.
Bob's love for his family was evident in his desire to have them all together. The times when his family was gathered around him were the moments he cherished most. He is survived by his wife, Michelle, their children, his brother Russell (Debra) Johnson, and his sister Rachelle (Terry) Walker. His family will remember him as a loving husband, a caring father, and a supportive brother.
Bob's life was a testament to the values of hard work, family, and friendship. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
