Robert Jones Obituary
Robert retired from Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning in Maryland. He worked there for 13 years and retired in April of 2013. Robert will be remembered for his love of life, watching wrestling, dancing and being around friends and family while listening to good music.
Robert leaves to cherish his memories a devoted son, Perry known as Barnaby (Stephanie), daughter Pam McDade, step-daughters Sherea, Linda, Tomiko ("Pumpkin") and grandchildren James and Ivy all of Maryland. Two sisters Geraldine Glover, Beverly Johnson (Garrett), and brother Stanley Jones all from Virginia, along with four sisters-in-law Mary, Louise, Bernice and Lucille. Robert also leaves to cherish his memories, a devoted friend Patricia Moore and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral service for Mr. Jones will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, in the Bruce and Stiff Funeral Home Chapel.
Public viewing will be held on Monday, December 9, 2024, from 12:30 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
