Robert was born on May 21, 1953, in San Antonio, Texas, the son of Robert and Frances (Bois) Kearns. A true people person, Robert was known for his warm personality, quick smile, and natural ability to make friends wherever he went. He shared many years working alongside his beloved wife, Sue, running a successful toy manufacturer representative business together. They treasured the joys of life at their home on McKane Lake.
Robert was a loving father who cherished time spent with his sons, especially the many years he spent watching his sons bowling together on Saturday morning leagues. His kindness, laughter, and presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his sons, Matthew (Denielle) Kearns and Scott Kearns; step-children, Karl (Linda) Gansler and Jennifer (Len) Gansler; grandchildren/step-children, Aili, Kristian, Autumn, Mark, Alayah, Grace, Dino, Jose, Jedidiah, and Julien, Gabriel and Abraham; and siblings, Doug (Fawnda), Kim, Wayne, Wendy, Jeff, and Mark (Stacy); nieces and nephews.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Sue, who passed away on March 8, 2022.
