Robert "Bob" Keeler Sr.

Robert "Bob" Keeler, 89, of Temperance, Michigan, passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2026. Bob was born on June 27, 1936, and was the son of George R. and Lois F. (Nelson) Keeler. He was a 1954 graduate of Bedford High School. He then married Julia Ann Estep on September 22, 1961. She preceded him in death on July 19, 2019. Bob was employed as an operating engineer for Michigan Stoneco for 34 years, retiring in 1998. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Temperance, Michigan, Michigan Blue Grass Association, and the American Motorcycle Association. Bob enjoyed woodworking, camping, and riding his motorcycle.

He is survived by his loving children, Robert "Bobby" Keeler, Jr., Martin Keeler, Terry (Edith) Keeler and Robin (Alan) Woody; brothers, Larry (Ima) Keeler, David (Sue) Keeler, Paul (Sue) Keeler, Jeff (Kris) Keeler, and Gene (Dawn) Keeler; sisters, Donna Fuleky, Jackie (David) Elliot, Sue (Wayne) Curtis, Linda (Mike) Westfall, Colleen (Joe) Clement, and Becky (Chuck) Graham; 10 grandchildren, and 25 great grandchildren. Bob was also preceded in death by his son, Charles, sisters, Pat Lemble, Sharon Peters, and brothers-in-law, Jim Lemble, Vincent Fuleky, and Charles Peters.

Visitation will be from 3-8pm, Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, Michigan. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 9144 Lewis Avenue, Temperance, Michigan, where he will lie in state after 10:00 am.
