Robert McCarroll Kelly

Robert McCarroll Kelly, 90, beloved husband of the late Martha Kelly, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2023.
Born in Greenville, SC, he was the son of the late Ray and Edith Perry Kelly.
Robert proudly served country with honor and dedication; a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam War. He retired from the Air Force after 20 years of service. Robert was a hard worker and a jack of all trades, always willing to lend a hand to those in need.
Robert was a faithful member of Forestville Baptist Church, where he found solace and comfort in his faith. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Martha, for 70 years before her passing, and their love was an inspiration to all who knew them.
He is survived by sons, Robert Kelly (Barbara), Tim Kelly (Sherry), Lee Kelly (Tammy), and Ricky Hart;19 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
In addition to his loving wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Lynda Finley, father-in-law, Singleton Bayne; mother-in-law, Laura Bayne.
A visitation will be held Monday, April 24, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:15 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Northwest, with the funeral service to follow at 1:30 p.m. in the Northwest Chapel. Burial will be in Mountain View Memorial Park.
