Robert Clifton Kinghorn, 84, passed peacefully on Wednesday, October 1st, 2025, after a brief illness. It is with happiness that he is now reunited with his wife, Sharon Kinghorn, with whom he shared 42 loving years together.

Robert was born and raised in Rockport, MA, being the fifth child of William Kinghorn and Helen (Bradley) Kinghorn. Robert was a graduate of Rockport High School, class of 1960. Robert loved everything to do with an engine and worked at his Family's Auto shop in Rockport. He also enjoyed working with another friend in boat races. Robert finished his work career by working for the Rockport Public School.

Robert's favorite things to do included being with his family, cleaning the pool in Rockport, and taking the famous "Rob Kinghorn Memorial Drive" around Rockport and Gloucester. Robert would be watching the Boston Red Sox in the summer and enjoyed the New England Patriots in the winter.

Robert is survived by his Son, Michael R Kinghorn, and longtime partner, Amy Kenny of Rockport, MA, and daughter, Robyn E (Kinghorn) Anderson and her husband, Kurtis Anderson of Boxford, MA. Robert's pride and joy was his Grandson Cody Anderson, whom he arguably loved more than his own kids. Robert would be truly happy when he was with Cody. Robert also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

As per Robert's wishes, no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Cape Ann

Animal Shelter, 4 Paws Lane, Gloucester, MA 01930 Arrangements by the Greely Funeral Home 212 Washington Street, Gloucester. For online condolences, please visit www.greelyfuneralhome.com
