Robert Frederick Klein, age 79, of Pontiac, Michigan, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2026. He was born on August 23, 1946.

Robert was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose life was centered on family. He shared 32 loving years of marriage with his wife, Mary Klein, building a home filled with warmth, laughter, and unconditional love. Robert proudly raised Mary's sons, Paul Caspers and Christopher Caspers, as his own. Their bond far exceeded blood and was rooted in commitment, guidance, and deep mutual respect.

A doting and proud Poppa, Robert found great joy in his grandchildren: Jeremy Atkins, Brandon Caspers, Bryan Caspers, Abigail Caspers, and Cole Caspers. He was also blessed to be the great-grandfather of Kaylee Caspers, who brought him immense happiness.

Robert had a lifelong love of hunting and cooking, passions that came together during the holidays. He and Mary cherished preparing and sharing holiday meals, turning family gatherings into treasured traditions that will be remembered for generations. His kitchen was a place of comfort, stories, and love.

A family man to his core, Robert was raised alongside four brothers and three sisters, forming lifelong bonds that shaped his values of loyalty and togetherness. He also shared close relationships with his many nieces and nephews, always offering a kind word, a steady presence, or a helping hand.
