Robert John Krause, age 86, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2025. He was born on August 4, 1939, to the late Edwin and Marjorie (Raminger) Krause.
On February 19, 1960, Robert married the love of his life, Norma Lane, in Millington, Tennessee. They shared a lifetime of memories together before she preceded him in death.
Robert was a man who loved the simple joys of life - hunting, fishing, building tree stands, and tinkering with anything that needed fixing. He had a gift for finding the positive in every situation and for taking life with a grain of salt. His family will forever be grateful for his kindness, his patience, and the warmth he brought to everyone around him.
Robert is survived by his children, Tim (Laura), James, and Kathy; eight grandchildren; and twenty-five great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Mary Ann, Donna, Janice, and Jean.
In addition to his parents and his beloved wife, Norma, Robert was preceded in death by his brother, Walter; his grandchildren, John and Bonnie; and many in-laws who were dear to his heart, including Roger Klimpke, Roger Nicks, Roger Brandner, James Lane, John Lane, Ronnie Lane, Betty Jones, Gertie Dunn, Kenneth Dunn, Gale McCrey, Wayne Lane, David Lane, Billy Lane, Sandra Lane, and Mary Decker.
Robert's family takes comfort in knowing that he lived a full and happy life, surrounded by those he loved most. His legacy of love, laughter, and positivity will continue to live on in all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Mid-Wisconsin Cremation Society is assisting the family
