Elizabeth Mae Barttelt, age 5, of 6300 Birch St., Lot No. 71, Schofield, died Saturday, July 26, 1997, at Wausau Hospital.
She was born July 14, 1992, in Wausau, to Kevin Barttelt and Meredith (Pingel) Thayer.
Survivors include her mother, Meredith “Merry” Thayer, Schofield; her father, Kevin Barttelt and “Mommy Kelly” Check, Schofield; her sister, Ashleigh; maternal grandparents, Ron and Nancy Cihlar, Mosinee, and Leonard and Tony Pingel, Hatley; paternal grandparents, Sandra Bloedel, Schofield, and David Barttelt, Wausau; maternal great-grandparents, Martha Pingel, Birnamwood, and Leo and Doris Salawater, Sayner; paternal great-grandmother, Rosemary Barttelt, Wausau; godparents, Chad Kees, Joshua Pingel, Kellie Barttelt and Fawn Pingel; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 30, 1997, at Mount Olive Lutheran Church. Rev. David Karolus will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Brainard Funeral Home, Wausau, and again from 10 a.m. Wednesday until the time of services at the church.
