Rob was born to Robert La Mar and Valerie (Ekendahl) La Mar on September 21, 1960, in Michigan City, IN. Rob grew up in Michigan City, IN, and graduated from Michigan City High School. Throughout Rob's life he lived in many different areas of the United States including Michigan City IN, Adams County WI, Alaska and Manistique MI. He enjoyed many things in life including carpentry, fishing, kayaking and spending time with friends and family. Rob was always the life of the party and had a special way of making people laugh.
Rob was married to his beloved wife Brenda La Mar for 15 years until her death in 2021.
Rob is survived by his four brothers: Duane La Mar, David La Mar, Maxwell La Mar, and David Gasaway; his nephews, Josh La Mar and Kyle (Julia) La Mar; niece, Jessica (Eric) Neiman. Also survived by Step Mother, Lula La Mar; his In-laws, Elaine (Fred) Morgan of Adams WI; sister-in-law, Cheryl (Rick) Duncan of Janesville WI; and many other cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews in the Wisconsin and Michigan area.
Rob was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda La Mar; father, Robert La Mar; and mother, Valerie (Ekendahl) La Mar.
