Robert LaForest Obituary
Bob was born onDecember 26, 1941, the son ofCecil LaForest and Mary (Neph) LaForest. He grew up inClio, MI, where he remained until retiring and moving toLakeland, FL, in 1998.
He was known for his kindness, humor, dancing skills, and unwavering dedication to his family and friends. His warmth and infectious laughter brought joy to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Whether he was sharing a joke, lighting up the dance floor, or offering a helping hand, Bobs presence made every moment brighter.
He cherished time spent with his loved ones and never missed an opportunity to celebrate lifes special moments. His passions included dancing, karaoke, and bringing happiness to those around him. Bob also enjoyed attending church with hisniece, Cheri, and her family, finding great comfort and joy in his faith.
Bob is survived by his children,John, Matt (Leslie), Mary, and Mark; his grandchildren,John Jr., Amanda, Elizabeth, Erika, Kaitlyn, Sierra, Lukas, Cody, and Gabriel; his great-grandchildren,Jennifer, John III, Donnie IV, Joseph, Salvatore, Alexander, Marlow, and Callahan; and his brother,Larry.
He was preceded in death by his father,Cecil; his mother,Mary; his sister,Evelyn; and his brother,Donald.
A visitation will be held onMarch 8, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at11:00 AMatLakeland Memorial Funeral Home.
Bobs love, laughter, and legacy will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
