Robert Alan Lambert, affectionately known as "Robb the Roofer" or "R-O-double bizzy," age 48, of Otisville, passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at Hurley Medical Center, surrounded by the love of his family and friends. A memorial service will be held 5:00 PM, Monday, May 19, 2025, at Dodds Dumanois Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 901 Garland St. Flint, MI. Pastor Sarah LaRose Nettell officiating. Family will receive visitors from 2:00 PM Monday until the time of the service. Cremation will take place at the request of his family.
Robb was born on December 24, 1976, to Susan Houghtaling and Robert Harold Yauch II and Gary and Diane Lambert.
As a child, Robb cherished his time spent in Otter Lake with his aunt, uncle, and cousins-riding bikes and making memories at his grandmother's house in Fife Lake, Michigan. His teenage years in Marion were filled with adventure, from digging graves and tearing through ditches with his best friend, to zipping around on his scooter, all while being pestered by his bossy little sister, Jenny Lynn.
Robb went on to become a skilled journeyman roofer and lived life full throttle. He loved fishing, hunting, riding his Harley, and camping, especially the family tubing trips. His greatest joy came from spending time with his grandbabies, enjoying rowdy get-togethers with loved ones, and living life loud and unapologetically. He had an obsession for anything he could drive fast, all kinds of music, and had a true love for animals. Robb was a man of many words-most of them hilariously unfiltered.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of 21 years, Ginny; his children Audrey, Sierra, Jory, Austin, Mariah, Joey, and Robbie; and his most favorite people, princess Sophia and grandbabies Brayden, Landen, Graham, Lydia, and Jace. Robb is also survived by his siblings Stephanie Branscum, Justin Kwiatkowski, Jenny Lynn (Tony) Achten, and Nate (Heather) Stanford.
He will be deeply missed by his closest friends-brothers by bond-Mikey (Melissa) Austin and family, Joe (Sally) Ingraham and family, Curry (Heather) McDaniel and family, and his lifelong cousin and childhood best friend, TJ Brink. He leaves behind a large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law, and countless friends whose lives he touched.
Robb was preceded in death by his stepmother Sheila Yauch, his twin brothers Jason and Justin Coburn, his father Gary Lambert, his sister Trecia Lambert, his grandparents Rachel and Wayne Russell, stepmother Tonja Stanford, and his beloved dog, "Momma."
Robb's larger-than-life spirit, boundless love, and unmistakable laugh will echo in the hearts of those who knew him. The impact of his loss will be felt far and wide for eternity.
