Robert J. Lange

Robert "Bob" J. Lange, born on February 2, 1951 and passed away February 24, 2025. Beloved husband of 52 years of Betty (nee Fox) Lange. Cherished Father of Linda (Dan) Gurich and Jennifer Lange. Beloved and devoted grandfather of Danny, Hannah and Bobby Gurich. Son of the late Robert and Catherine Lange. Brother of James (Norma) Lange.
Bob was a lifelong Clevelander that devoted his life to his family and his city. He adored all Cleveland sports. A 1969 graduate of St. John Cantius High School. He enjoyed returning for reunions and keeping up with lifelong friends who still called him Bobby. After retiring as a master carpenter from the city of Cleveland after 30 years, working on projects that he took such pride in such as Gateway, the Westside market and his beloved Browns stadium. Once he retired, he took pleasure in watching his grandchildren play sports and traveling with his wife to get away from the Ohio winters and taking road trips with friends. He was active in volunteering at Church and would always lend a hand to anyone that needed some help with a project. He loved soaking up the sunshine and watching his pride and joy grandchildren excel in their games. He loved taking care of his home he built and hosting his family and friends to enjoy the beautiful yard he maintained to a tee!
Bob was a devoted and loyal friend to all that knew him. He will be missed by his family and his friends for his quick wit, love of singing, dancing and sports and most of all for all the stories he could tell.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 12700 Pearl Rd, Strongsville, 44136.
