Robert LaPerle Obituary
Passed away unexpectedly on February 10, 2024, at age 75. He was predeceased by his wife, best friend and lifelong partner Kathy LaPerle and his sister Renee MacGillvray. He is survived by his daughter and son in law, Nicole LaPerle (Dan) Whitehead, their children: Jase, Luke, Mackenzie, Riley; daughter and son in law, Danielle LaPerle (Dan) Staversky, and their children: Camryn and Charlie; twin brother, Stephen LaPerle (Robin); brothers and sisters in laws, John MacGillvray, Robert (Mary Liz) Quinn, Bill (Pat) Quinn, Eileen (Tom) Savoy, Mary (Dotty) Quinn, Maureen (Steve) Timpanaro; cousins and many dear friends.
He worked for over 30 years at Eastman Kodak Company and went on to teach at Cornell University for 10 years. He had a passion for photography, tennis and especially spending time with his daughters, and attending his grandchildren's sporting events. His love for life and generosity is unmatched and his shining light will be greatly missed.
A celebration of his life will be held in the Interfaith Chapel at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services (3325 Winton Road South Rochester NY 14623) on FRIDAY (2/16/24) at 2:00pm. His interment will follow in White Haven Memorial Park (210 Marsh Road Pittsford NY 14534). All are invited to a reception at Glendoveers (2328 Old Browncroft Blvd, Rochester, NY 14625) at 4:30pm

It was my greatest honor to work for Bob. From the moment I met him - he was the most inspirational person I ever met. He was a visionary, innovator and leader that changed the course of my life and my leadership style but he was also just an amazing and fun person to be around.
It was such an honor to be part of his small team of incredible people. He led us with humor, guidance, challenging us to reach higher but with unwavering support, and a heavy dose of fun and laughter. He taught me more about vision, innovation, strategy and implementation than anyone I ever met.
Bob was an incredible innovator with a huge vision. He brought people together with diverse viewpoints to create something amazing. He understood how to create a positively charged, learning culture that was irresistibly contagious. I use the lessons I learned from him every day in my own company and I am eternally grateful for the opportunity and honor to have worked for him.
