Robert Carroll Leach a longtime St. Albans resident, passed away Thursday, January 22, 2026, at St. Albans Health and rehab with his daughter Tammy at his side.

Born in Enosburgh on April 5, 1941, the son of the late Carroll R. and Virginia (Betters) Leach. Robert was 84 years old.

On August 7, 1965, in St. Albans, he married June Elizabeth Reynolds, who predeceased him on July 26, 2016.

Robert was educated in Enosburg and went on to serve in the U.S. Air Force. Robert worked at several jobs always supporting his family. He finally got the job he wanted at IBM on 5/1965. He worked there for over 25 years before retiring in the 80's. Robert loved to tinker on lawn mowers and snowblowers, he did this out of his garage. He would have neighbors come and bring their mowers to him. He did this right up until 2015, right before June got sick.

Survivors include his daughter, Tammy J Greenia and her husband, Luke Greenia of Highgate, his son, Timothy R. Leach of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, grandson, Jonathan R. Leach of South Carolina, as well as his brother, Allen Leach and his wife, Cheryl that predeceased him. Robert has a nephew, Wiilliam Leach and his wife Judy, great niece and nephew and spouses Holly and Scott Bassett, Tommy and Jennifer Leach.

At Robert's request there will be no services, burial will be in the Torrey Cemetery in Georgia at the convenience of his family.

Will never forget all the stories he would tell of drag racing his Pontiac Gto and hanging out at Dussault Auto Sales chatting while I worked.
