Preceded in death by his father, Donald Ray Gentry; grandparents, Ben and Artell Chapman. Survived by his mother and step-father, Kay and Tim Hayes; step-brother, Donald Andrew Gentry; uncle, Glenn Chapman and wife, Bobbie; several nieces and nephews; special friends to include: Jeannia McGill, Joe Layton, Curt Whitehead and Josh Whitehead, along with Roberts beloved dog, Maggie.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 9th at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Family and friends will gather at 11 a.m. on Friday at Friends Cemetery in Friendsville for Graveside Services.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses. Click Funeral Home, 109 Walnut Street, Lenoir City is in charge of arrangements.
