Alfred Dean Russell

Alfred Dean Russell - age 90 of Lenoir City, passed away Thursday evening, October 9, 2025. Dean was a member of Central Baptist Church in Loudon. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the United States Navy. Dean retired from Union Carbide where he worked as a machine operator and worked for TVA. He loved photography and taking care of his family and friends.
Dean was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Jo Ann McNabb Russell; parents, William and Nell Russell, and Stella Lively Russell; sister, Sybil Bailey; step brother, Bob Jenkins.
Survived by his special niece, Rachel Harness and husband, Bill; nieces, Sandra Burnette and Debbie Douglas; step sister, Elizabeth Reason; sister-in-law: Jean Ann Engel, along with his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, many nieces and nephews in the McNabb family.
The family will receive friends from on 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, October 13th at Click Funeral Home 109 Walnut Street, Lenoir City. Funeral services will follow at 4 p.m. with Dr. Dick DeMerchant officiating. Family and friends will gather at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Loudon Co. Memorial Gardens for graveside services and interment. Full military honors will be conducted by the Loudon County Veterans Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Loudon County Baptist Association or Central Baptist Church in Loudon.
