Robert W. "Bud" Leonard

Robert "Bud" W. Leonard, age 80, of Brunswick, Ohio, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2026. He was born on September 28, 1945, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Jack Ferris Leonard Sr. and Virgie (Morris) Leonard.
Bud is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Leonard; his children, Jonathan K. (Tiffany) Leonard and Gillian D. (Sebastian) Patulea; his cherished grandchildren, Colin and Cooper; niece, Selina (Tim) Stephens; as well as his sister-in-law, Portia Leonard. He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Ian Michael Leonard; his brother, Jack Ferris Leonard Jr.; and his nephew, Jack Ferris Leonard III.
Bud was a proud U.S. Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam War. He was truly a jack of all trades who enjoyed rebuilding English cars, working in the garden, and running his own business. He will be remembered for his skills, dedication, and love for his family.
Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, January 9, 2026, at Carlson Funeral Home, 1642 Pearl Road, Brunswick, Ohio. Visitation will take place one hour prior, beginning at 2:00 p.m. Chaplain Don Bolich will officiate.
