Robert Leve Obituary

Robert Alan Leve, a resident of Encanterra in San Tan Valley, Arizona, passed away peacefully at home on February 15, 2024. He was born on September 3, 1948, in Chicago, Illinois, and also lived in Miami, Florida, as well as Arizona, where he resided for over 40 years. Bob was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, and caring brother. In his retirement, he pursued his passions for sports, including tennis and golf.
Before he retired, Bob spent most of his career in the finance and securities industry. Early in his career, Bob was a trader at the Chicago Board Options Exchange. Later he worked as a stockbroker at E.F. Hutton and Merril Lynch and as an investment specialist at Vanguard and for the State of Israel. Bob was also a talented entrepreneur, operating at different times a glamour photography business and an elite cigar lounge.
Bob is survived by his wife, Kim Fridkin, his two children, Jared (Leah )and Joslyn (Chris), his two stepchildren, Jennifer Kahn and Melissa Kahn, his sisters Debra Wellins (Rick) and Marsha Zimmerman (Carl), and his brother Jim (Sue) as well as nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and his many friends.

I’m devastated to learn of Bob’s passing. He and I were first cousins on the Leve side (his father was my mother’s brother) and, although we didn’t get to see each other often, when we did, there was an instant closeness. My deepest sympathy to his whole family.

Bob was my next door neighbor growing up. We shared so many hours playing together. We always had a lot of fun!!
Later in life we connected again. It was just meant to be, friends for life.
Bob was a gentle soul, always polite and sincere. I think about him often and cherish those memories. We were great buds!
