It is with deep sorrow to announce that Scott Matthew Dillon, of Gilbert, Arizona, passed away on October 13, 2025 at the age of 55 in his home.

Scott was born on January 9th, 1970 in Hammond, Indiana to Audrey and Alfred Kovalcik. He graduated from Loveland High School in 1988 and earned a degree in theatrical arts from Arizona State University, of which he was very proud. Scott was an accomplished stage actor for many years as a part of the Shakespearian Troupe as well as various performances on stage and in movies and television. Following his acting career, Scott held positions as VP of Sales at numerous tech companies including Highwinds and Hive.

Scott met the love of his life, Teresa Soviero during a stage performance called "Hurlyburly".They were married in 2006. They shared 19 years of marriage, filled with many beloved memories of traveling around the world and enjoying time spent with loved ones and his many pets. Scott had a vibrant personality and will be remembered for his infectious laugh and his gigantic heart, his intense love for Christmas and his unwavering dedication to his family. In his free time, Scott enjoyed listening to heavy metal music, watching Hallmark Christmas movies and ASU football. He loved traveling with Teresa and was planning to go on a Viking cruise in the near future.

Scott is survived by his beloved spouse, Teresa, their daughter Keghan, her husband Aaron and their son James, their daughter Averi and their son Conor. He also leaves behind his brothers Dave and Craig as well as his sister Cindy, his brother by marriage Joe, Joe's wife Rosalie, their son Eli, and his many friends.
