Robert W. (Bobo) Leventry, Jamestown, PA formally of Transfer, PA passed away on Sunday December 29,2024 at UPMC Hamot. He was born in Greenville, PA on January 26,1947 to the late Warren C Leventry and Isabelle M (Webster) Leventry. He was a 1964 graduate of Reynolds Area High School. He retired from Wheatland Tube and previously was employed at Westinghouse, Reynolds Lanes, Salem Tube, & Trinity Industries. Robert is survived by three daughters Joni (Tim) Shafer of Atlantic, PA, Mari Ann (Todd) Brock of Brookneal, VA, Janette (Donald) Cadman Conneaut Lake PA, Four siblings, Rosemary Menke, Greenville, PA, Samuel (Nancy) Leventry, Napierville, IL. James Leventry Greenville, PA. Patty (Jay) McKee Zebulon, GA. Three grandchildren, four great children, several nieces & nephews. A very special friend whom he considered a son, Shawn (Jennifer) Hoover (Transfer, PA) and Richard "Dickie" (Linda) Raught Brookfield OH whom was a lifelong friend and former brother-in-law.
Robert had many interests. He enjoyed following the Reynolds Raider wrestling program where he once wrestled himself. He enjoyed being at the lake fishing, being in the woods hunting or sometimes just calling in turkey and watching them and other wildlife. He had the moves and feet to dance and entertain others while on the dance floor. Most of all "Bobo" was well known in the bowling community for his passion and skills of the game,. His knowledge and understanding of the game was something he took great pride in, it was not about just how to knock down the pins, he understood the oil patterns and how they breakdown to adjust and much more. Those who knew him knew how much he enjoyed sharing and mentoring others with this knowledge.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in by death by his former wife Nancy.
