Ronald J. Hunter, of Palm, PA, passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2025 at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest at age 88.
Ron was born in East Greenville, the son of the late Helen (Binder) and Harry Hunter. He graduated from East Greenville High School in 1956 and was employed by Knoll Inc. for 46 years in the upholstery department until retiring.
He was a faithful member of Colebrookdale Chapel. He served as a Deacon and was also a member of the Missions Board. Ron also served as a caretaker and cleaner at Community Bible Fellowship in Red Hill.
Ron was a lifelong Phillies fan who enjoyed traveling the country supporting them. He was also a dedicated volunteer to Upper Perk Youth Baseball where he helped maintain the baseball fields. He loved supporting his grandchildren in their athletic and school events.
Ron is survived by his children: Ronlyn (Steve) Harner; Ryan (Barb) Hunter and Tina Clymer; grandchildren: Tristan, Stephanie, Sara, Mason and Erin; and great-grandchildren: Collins, Kinsey, Curtis, Beckett, Boone, Luxton, Bridger and Colter. He was also preceded in death by his granddaughter, Erica and sister Nadeine.
A viewing will be held beginning at 10 AM on Friday, October 3, 2025 at at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St, East Greenville, PA with a service to follow at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in New Goshenhoppen UCC Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Upper Perk Youth Baseball Assoc., PO Box 181, East Greenville, PA 18041.
