Robert E. "Case" Liggett

Robert E.(Case) Liggett, 86, of Massillon, died on Thursday, February 10, 2005 at his residence after a lengthy illness. He was born on Wednesday, December 18, 1918, in Andrews, IN , and was a life resident of Massillon.

He was employed by Berger Division, of the former Republic Steel as a customer service Coorindator, for 35yrs, retiring in 1980.

He was a coach, and was very active in Little League Baseball in Massillon. survivors include

Daughter and son in law-Roberta and (Ray) Lackey of Massillon, Son and daughter in law-Thomas and (Deborah) Liggett of Massillon, Brother-James Liggett of Lady Lake, Fla. Sister and brother in law-Lois and (Gene) Smith of Watseka, Ill.

6 Grandchildren, and 9 Great Grandchildren, and his constant canine companion, his shelty, named "Ellis"

He was preceded in Death by: Parents, Paul and Nondus (Billings) Liggett Wife-Margaret Liggett(1999) Daughter-Sue Ellen Liggett(1992) Sister-Mary Lou Nemeti

Funeral Service will be held at Heitger Funeral Service - Massillon Chapel on Monday Feb. 14, 2005 at 11:00 A M with the Rev. Dale Boston of Stanwood Community Church officiating , interment will be at Brookfield Cemetery, Tuscarawas Twp.

Visitation will be on Sunday Feb. 13, 2005 from 2 to 5 PM. at Heitger Funeral Service, Massillon Chapel.
