Robert "Bob" A. Linzmeier, age 85, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at Our House Assisted Living.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday June 25, 2024, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. A visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday from 9:30am until the time of service at 11:00am. Burial will be held at St. Wenceslaus Cemetery.
Bob was born on March 31, 1939, in Milladore, WI, to Frank and Clara (Mancl) Linzmeier. He graduated from Auburndale High School in 1957 and then proudly served in the US Army from 1957-1965. Bob married Patricia Ruesch in 1962, they were married for 42 years until her passing in 2004. He then married Judy Youngmark on October 8, 2005, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
Bob worked as a Millwright for Port Edwards Paper Mill for 40 years. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic church. He enjoyed wood working, camping, fishing and snowmobiling. He was also an avid card player.
Bob is survived by his wife, Judy Linzmeier; children, Mike (Teresa) Linzmeier, Brian (Cindi) Linzmeier, Brady (Maggie) Linzmeier, and Marcia Linzmeier; step-children, Darrin (Nancy) Petruska, Dustin Petruska, and Darcy (Tim) Petruska; 23 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Patricia; brother, Francis; and sister, Mary Ann.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Bob's name to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church or The Alzheimer's Association.
