Robert E. Ludwig

Robert E. Ludwig, 79, of Seaford, DE, formerly of Reinholds, passed away on Friday, October 31, 2025, at TidalHealth Nanticoke, DE.
He was born in Ephrata to the late Ivan L. and Dorothy E. (Knoll) Ludwig and was the husband of Pauline K. (Pfautz) Ludwig.
He attended Providence Community Church, Georgetown, DE. During his working years, Robert owned Ludwig's Auto Body in Reinholds and A and C Restoration in Stevens.
In addition to his wife, Robert is survived by three children, Jeff, husband of Shelly Ludwig, Steve, husband of Linda Ludwig, Deb, wife of Todd Adair; three grandchildren, Tim, husband of Shawnna Adair, Becky, wife of Justin Lehrer, Bethany, wife of CJ Price; two great-granddaughters, Adalyn Lehrer, Lillian Price; four siblings, Shirley Hirst, Norman Ludwig, Rita Long and Flo Wolfersberger.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ivan Ludwig, Jr.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2025, from 5 to 8 PM, Roseboro Stradling Funeral Home, 533 Walnut Street, Denver. An additional viewing will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025, from 9 to 10 AM, at Roseboro Stradling Funeral Home, followed by his funeral service at 10 AM, with Pastor Russ Hammer officiating. Interment will take place in Memory Gardens Memorial Cemetery.
