Robert Bruce Lynch Jr. passed from this life on December 13th, 2025, in
Willards, MD. Born in
Salisbury, MD, on November 16th, 1978, and raised in
Willards, MD, "Robbie," as he was affectionately known, was a devoted and loving father, son, brother, and friend.
Robbie loved life and was always fun to be around; without a doubt, Robbie was the life of the party. His orneriness and comedic personality were renowned. His sense of humor and playfulness definitely would bring laughs and smiles to us all. Robbie also had a heart of gold and would selflessly give of his talents and time. He didn't know a stranger and was always there if anyone needed a helping hand. He was skilled in many disciplines but will always be remembered as one of the best swimming pool installers in the area. He worked for a local pool company for many years before starting his own pool care business. At one time he also operated a small deer butcher shop that was a go-to for many of the local hunters.
Robbie was an avid outdoorsman. He had a passion for the outdoors. He was at home when he was outside in nature; it was a source of sheer enjoyment for him. There is no place he would rather be than on Assateague, basking in sunshine with a fishing pole out and his son by his side. He would never pass up a chance to go fishing or out hunting. Over the years Robbie accumulated many a nice catch and trophy deer. Robbie also loved cooking; he could cook just about anything, and the cornbread he made was always the best! Everyone always knew if they were going to Robbie's for a get-together, and food was involved, that they were in for a treat.
As much as Robbie loved these things, they all paled in comparison to spending time with his son, Brayden. Brayden was the love of Robbie's life and a source of immeasurable pride for him. Robbie would always let everyone know how Brayden was doing and what he was up to. Robbie would always joke that he couldn't believe how he of all people could have a son that was as smart as Brayden. They had a truly special relationship, and Robbie was a terrific father and mentor for Brayden. His love for Brayden was so intense that it cannot be expressed with words.
In addition to his son, Brayden, Robbie is survived by his loving parents, Deborah Leizear ( Dave ) of Willards and Robert B. Lynch Sr. ( Mickie ) of Snow Hill; two adoring sisters, Melissa Welch ( Duane ) of Pittsville, and twin sister, Sonya Pusey ( Dean ) of Fruitland; brother, Matthew Lynch ( Destiny ) of Salisbury; close friend, Chrissy Harman Paolone of Salisbury; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews, all of whom loved their Uncle Rob dearly. In addition, Robbie leaves behind his best buddy, Ben, his very large, chocolate Lab. We are truly heartbroken over our loss of Robbie. He was a kind and loving soul, and he will be sorely missed by all his family and friends. He leaves a void in our hearts that will never be filled.
