After graduating from Corry High School, Bob attended Case Western Reserve University, where he met Marcia. They later settled in Rochester, NY, and Bob built a year career as an engineer at Xerox.
Bob & Marcia welcomed their son James in 1978. James, an Army 1st Lt., lost his life in Operation Iraqi Freedom on September 27, 2006. Bob and Marcia devoted themselves to honoring his service and memory.
Bob became a deacon at St. Marianne Cope Parish in 2011, serving for 15 years. He also refereed lacrosse in the Rochester area and dedicated more than 40 years to the Brighton Volunteer Fire Department.
A funeral Mass will be held Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Marianne Cope Parish, 2061 E. Henrietta Rd., Rochester, NY 14623, with a reception to follow.
