Robert F. MacKeil

Robert F. MacKeil, 86, of South Hamilton, passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2024 in Hamilton, MA surrounded by family and friends. Born in Melrose, MA, he is the son of the late Maxwell & Helen (Cronan) MacKeil. He was the loving husband of Angelina (Dagresta) Marks with whom he shared 26 years of marriage.
Raised in Melrose, MA and a graduate of Melrose High School, Bob was a man of option and brilliance. As an inventor, he created many things but most notably, golf club heads, some of which he had patented. Always ready to share his thoughts on politics, real estate and market trends, it was his commitment to those he cared for, his sense of humor and sometimes feisty demeanor that revealed Bob to be a man of conviction. He and Angelina enjoyed their time in Florida each year and when home in Hamilton, his passion was his peach tree.
Robert is survived by his wife, Angelina Marks and loving family, friends, and neighbors. He was predeceased by his brothers, William J. MacKeil and Donald B. MacKeil.
