Robert Alexander "Bobby" Martin

Robert "Bobby" Alexander Martin, born September 21, 1950, passed away February 13, 2026. He passed away from complications of dementia and was under the care of Community Hospice at Baptist Hospital South.

Bobby was born in Callahan, Florida to William Alexander Martin and Vina Estelle Wiggins Martin. He lived his entire life in Dinsmore community. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents; older brother, Billy Martin; and younger brother, Joe Martin.

Bobby spent most of his working life in the construction industry. He was able to operate any type of heavy equipment. When he was younger, Bobby did all kinds of work including milking cows. His main passion was driving big trucks; he drove his dump truck for his brother's company before his retirement in 2010.

Bobby is survived by his wife of 34 years, Evelyn Martin; brothers, Wayne (Donna) Martin and David (Brenda); sister-in-law; Bonnie Martin, 19 nephews and nieces, 28 great nephews and nieces, 4 great-great nephews and nieces, and 2 that will be here in March.

Bobby was especially close to his niece, Dee Martin Emery and Dana (Day Day) Martin. He also helped raise three of them as his own, Sheila "Squirrel" Small, Stephanie "Chipmunk" Nall, and Robert "Gopher" Small.
