Robert J. McDermott, Jr., died at his home in Manhattan on April 9, 2024 at the age of 57 after a short illness. He was a lifelong New Yorker and a graduate of Trinity School, New York University (1994), Brooklyn Law School (1997), and NYU School of Law (1998). Over the course of his career he practiced law in the city with several law and accounting firms specializing in tax matters. Robert is survived by his daughter Charlotte, his sister Nancy, his former wife Karen Kligerman, and his parents Robert and Michelle McDermott.
