Obituary

Mr. Robert Lewis McLean was born December 28, 1956, in Lee County to the late Minnie Lee McLean and Robert Lewis McNeill Sr. He transitioned from this earthly home on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at Dahlia Gardens Center for Nursing Rehabilitation Aberdeen, North Carolina to begin his eternal home.

Mr. Robert Lewis McLean was preceded in death by his parents: Mr. Robert Lewis McNeill Sr., Mrs. Minnie Lee McLean alone with the parents who adopted, raised, loved, and nurtured him; Mr. John Quincy and Mrs. Nancy Quick.

He was proceeded in death with many other family members that loved, worshipped, and adored him till their demise.

Mr. Robert Lewis McLean was a man of many gifted talents from the love and nurture of family and people to the employment field, and the skills he acquired from the twelve years he spent in the army during his younger years. He mentored many and was admired, respected, and adored by everyone including the young, old, and definitely strangers he met from day to day that he had an impressible contact with once in his presence. His hobbies included landscaping, tinkering with cars, fishing, and the greatest of all was his gift to gab and you had to listen. (SMILE!) It was his biggest inspiration which gave him the greatest joy.

Mr. Robert Lewis McLean attended schools in the Lee County School system prior to returning to New York where he attended different schools there before enrolling in Job Corp where he received his High School Diploma. Later in life, he decided to join the Army where he served his country for twelve years retiring with full honors from the services he dedicated to his country.
