March 13, 1936 – October 5, 2025
Robert "Bob" McNeil, age 89, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2025. Bob was known for his kindness, sense of humor, and unwavering dedication to his family and community.
He spent his career in fleet management and generously shared his expertise by teaching DOT classes for the State Of MN and truck driving through DCTC. Bob also helped many friends' children prepare for their driving tests, a testament to his patience and generosity.
A proud U.S. Navy veteran, Bob later volunteered for many years in the Infusion Center at Burnsville Ridges Hospital, where his warmth and compassion touched countless lives.
Bob is survived by his devoted daughters Staci (Steve) Mehrman and Kathy (Frank) Rusnacko; his treasured grandchildren Chase Mehrman, Ella (Paul) Krispin, Cole Mehrman, and Tate Rusnacko; brother-in-law Wayne Stanek; and many cherished nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Karen; brother Gerald McNeil; nephew Michael McNeil; sisters-in-law Gloria McNeil and Dorothy Stanek; parents Carl and Anne McNeil; and in-laws Raymond and Victoria Stanek.
To honor Bob's memory, donations may be made to the causes close to his heart: cancer research, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Dearest Family,
As you more than know, Bob was and will remain, a great man. I am so sorry for his loss. His life was full of dedication to his family, friends and those in need.

He wasn´t one to toot his own horn: thus I´m so glad You Have! If the world was as decent, how loving and peaceful it would be.

I am comforted that he is with his lovely wife, Karen, and able to take a Divine rest! What a loving pair and devoted parents and grandparents.

When I need inspiration I can forever look to Bob: loving, warm and genuine. What an accomplished life!

I love you, Bob. It is now I see and feel all the Light Around You! God Bless You Always! Heaven must be singing: Well done, my faithful servant!
