Robert McQuiston Obituary
Born in Philadelphia and raised in Norwood, Robert was the son of the late Woodrow and Mary McQuiston.
He was a proud US Army Veteran stationed in Alaska during his time of service. Bob retired in 2000 from the USPS where he worked as a letter carrier.
He was a member of American Legion Post #566 Murray Stuart where he was past Commander and bartender for over 30 years. He enjoyed the wildlife Refuge where he often took walks with his wife Mary Lee, fishing, casinos and scratch off lottery tickets.
He is predeceased by his sons Bobby and James McQuiston.
Survivors: Beloved husband of 59 years of Mary Lee McQuiston, loving father of Theresa (Don) McQuiston Grosscup, David (Barbara) McQuiston and Bill (Doris) McQuiston, cherished pop-pop of 2 grandsons and 7 granddaughters and 5 great grandchildren, dear brother of Woodrow "Sonny"(the late Roberta) McQuiston, Joey(Nancy) McQuiston, Tom (Cathy) McQuiston, nieces and nephews.
Visitation: Friday August 22, 2025 from 10:30am -12pm at McCausland Garrity Marchesani Funeral Home, 343 S Chester Pike Glenolden, PA. 19036 followed by Words of Remembrance and Military Honors.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Providence Animal Shelter, 555 Sandy Bank Rd Media Pa 19063 would be appreciated.
