Robert Joseph Meashintubby, 67 of Ada, Oklahoma passed away August 15, 2022 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Robert was born May 15, 1955 in Talihina, Oklahoma to Joseph and Nellie (Killer) Meashintubby. Robert worked as a tree climber and a security guard then later retired from the Chickasaw Nation as a facilities service technician. Robert loved to play wahoo with his sister, brother and sister-in-law.
He enjoyed his gift of being a story teller, loved his music, spending time with family, and last, but not least, he was an avid OU Sooners fan.
Survivors include daughter Melissa Roebuck and granddaughter Emilie Roebuck of Mounds, Oklahoma. Sisters Glenda Carpitcher of Konawa, Oklahoma, Vicky Pettigrew of Ada, Oklahoma. Brother Kenneth Meashintubby of Ada, Oklahoma and a host of nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Nellie Meashintubby, his wife Opal Meashintubby, one sister Lynda Simmer, brothers Matthew Meashintubby and Douglas Meashintubby
Pallbearers; Tony Roberts, Harold Meashintubby, Tommy Johnson Jr., Wesley Davis, Jerry Johnson, and Chad Cloud
Honorary Pallbearers; Donald Todd, Jimmy Walker and Wendell Pettigrew, Kenneth Roebuck
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM on Thursday August 18, 2022 at Estes-Phillips Funeral Home in Ada. Visitation will be held 6:00PM - 7:00PM on Wednesday August 17, 2022 at Estes-Phillips Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Cedar River Cemetery in Holdenville, Oklahoma.

Robert worked for me at Cedar Blue in Sulphur Oklahoma and I could always depend on him great worker and great to be around was a good friend wish we could have stayed in touch more will be missed
