Robert “Bob” Meinerding, age 65, a resident of Portland, passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Persimmon Ridge Rehabilitation Center in Portland.
Robert was born on March 17, 1960, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, the son of Carl and Iris (Miller) Meinerding. Robert worked for Super Wash and was a truck driver for LD Nosinger in Fort Recovery, Ohio. Robert was a member of the Tri-State Gas Engine & Tractor Association. Robert married Elizabeth Pfeifer on January 20, 1979.

His wife: Elizabeth Meinerding – Portland, Indiana
2 daughters: Beth Croyle (husband Andrew) – Portland, Indiana
Kris Horner (husband Garry) – Redkey, Indiana
1 brother: Gerald Meinerding (wife Patty) – Bryant, Indiana
4 grandchildren: Brice Coy, Grace Coy, Kyle Coy, and Collin Horner.
Arrangements are being handled by Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland.
