Robert Lawrence "Bob" Mere was born in Massena, New York on April 4, 1947 to proud parents, Edward and Anita Mere. After high school, Bob proudly served in the United States Army from 1965 to 1968. After his discharge from the army, he moved to Flint, Michigan where he raised four children and was employed at General Motors. After retirement, he became a proud Texan and settled in Arlington, Texas where he met his wife, Debby in 2004. Bob was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be remembered by his family and friends as a Life Long Dallas Cowboys Fan. He was also a music enthusiast, had multiple hobbies, and became a world traveler. Bob had a passion for life and tried to live each day to the fullest. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
