Robert Abe Milam

Robert Abe Milam, CEC, AAC, 75, of St. Albans went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 25, 2025 at Thomas Memorial Hospital, South Charleston.
He was born in Charleston, West Virginia to the late Cameron Abe Milam and Ruth Ann Nelson Milam. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Richard Milam and Charlie Milam (Peggy); brother-in-laws, Harrison Ashworth and Jimmy Turley.
Bob was retired teacher and chef from the Charleston Civic Center and was also retired teacher from Boone County Career and Technical Center. He was a graduate of St. Albans High School, class of 1967, graduated from West Virginia State College and graduated from the Greenbriar Culinary Program. He was a US Navy Veteran. He was a member of the ACF, FOP and FOPA.
Surviving is his wife of 55 years, Margaret Lee Turley Milam; daughter, Heather Ramsey; grandchildren, Thomas Lee Harris and Alexandra Kyle Harris; great granddaughter, Izzabell Harris; sisters, Virgie Ashworth, Debbie Turley, Debbie Lambert, Connie Stone; sister-in-law, Jane Milam; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 6, 2025 at Bartlett-Nichols Funeral Home, St. Albans with Pastor Eddie Milam officiating. Burial will follow in Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Dunbar.
The family will receive friends from 11 to 1:00 p.m. Friday prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.
