Robert George "Bob" Milette

Robert "Bob" George Milette, 77, of International Falls, Minnesota passed away on February 13, 2025, in Grand Rapids, Minnesota.
Bob was born on February 18, 1947, in Littlefork, Minnesota. On March 21, 1970, he married the love of his life, Joan Marie Veeder, in International Falls. Together, they built a life filled with love, family, and cherished memories.
Bob dedicated his career to serving and protecting his community as a police officer for the city of International Falls, retiring in 1991. A proud United States Army veteran, he continued his commitment to his community by coaching youth hockey, leaving a lasting impact on many young athletes.
Bob had a deep love for the outdoors and spent his winters in Florida, summers on Rainy Lake, and hunting in Big Falls with family and friends. He was an avid golfer who rarely missed men's league night and enjoyed sharing rounds with good company.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Lois Milette, and his brother, Don Milette.
Bob is survived by his loving wife, Joan; their children, Douglas Milette (Sandy Ysen), Ryan Milette, and Andrea (Darrin) Hofstad; and his five beloved grandchildren, Joshua Milette, Bailey Milette, Caden Hofstad, Liv Hofstad, and Nina Hofstad.
Bob will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His legacy of dedication, laughter, and love for his family and community will live on in the hearts of many.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 17, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Green-Larsen Mortuary. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
Following the service, a luncheon will be held at the Elk's Lodge in International Falls.
