Robert Richard Miller was born in Bakersfield, CA on October 21, 1931 and departed this life on April 24, 2025 surrounded by family and friends, at Hoffman House. He was 93 years of age. Robert lived the promise of Psalm 91:16, "With long life will I satisfy him, And show him my salvation." An ordained minister of the Gospel, he was a blessed man because of Jesus Christ his Savior and LORD.
Robert was the son of BJ "Rocky" Miller and Kitty Clyde Richards Miller whom he loved.
He spent 3 ½ years in the U.S. Navy, being awarded the National Defense Ribbon; the Korean Service Medal; the United Nations Medal; the China Service Medal, and more. Robert served his country honorably. He is an Honor Flight Veteran. Robert has been a lifetime member of FGBMFI; he served many years as International Host for the National Prayer Breaksfast In Washington, DC. He was active at Cityview Church.
Robert is survived by his wife Tina; his niece Judy (Robert); and nephew Gene. He was blessed with 4 children: Paul; Patti; Pamela (Rocky); and Perry; (with Charlette, the mother of his children, and they have 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren).
