Robert Jason Mitchell

Robert "Jason" Mitchell, 47, a loving father, son, brother and uncle, passed away on September 5, 2025. Born on October 28, 1977, Jason was raised in St. Stephens Church. He graduated from King William High School in 1995. Jason was an avid sports fan of all sports; however, his favorite sports included football, basketball and wrestling. Jason also had a passion for youth and high-school sports, from all areas, and loved talking to his friends and brothers about recent or upcoming games. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert "Bobby" Mitchell, Jr.; his maternal grandparents, Richard Glazebrook and Minnie Glazebrook; his paternal grandparents, Robert Mitchell Sr. and Jean Mitchell. He is survived by his daughter whom he adored, Summer; his mother, Cathy; brothers, Ryan (Lauren) and Eric (Stacy); as well as his nieces and nephews, Landon, Charlotte, Connor, Miles and Natalie. A memorial service will be held 4 PM, Saturday, September 20th at Colosse Baptist Church, 23945 King William Road; West Point, VA. Visitation will be 1hr prior.
