i first met bob when i interviewed with BCS. during the offer negotiation, he went above and beyond and showed he knew how, and would, take care of his people. he demonstrated that numerous times during my stint in philly. and i won't talk much about how much company time we spent talking fishing. hell i still have that bamboo fly rod he gave me.

he is, without a doubt, the best manager i ever had. rest in peace, friend. and keep the line tight....

It was a privledge to work with Bob. He was a man with strong morals and integrity. Bob and Joann were strong team and raised a beautiful family together. Bob was proud of his 3 boys and spoke of them often. It is a testament to Bob that the best and brightest Boeing employees called him a friend and held him in high regard. The Boeing family thanks him for nearly 4 decades of loyal service. Rest peacefully Bob knowing your family is well cared for. See you on the other side.

I first met Bob when our sons were in Cub Scouts here in Springfield. I appreciated his friendship and his sharing of his model train display. In recent years it was always a pleasant surprise to see him and JoAnn out walking or in the supermarket. I remember him as a good good man.

Bob was a good manager and took responsibility which seems to be lacking these days. Was a friend who shared and communicated objectives nicely. He was like a coach getting the most out of his players He let me borrow his sonar when I went on a fishing trip to Canada. There is no doubt he will be greatly missed.
