Funeral services for Robert "Bob" Moore, age 77, of Norfolk, Nebraska will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at Home for Funerals Chapel, 708 Georgia Avenue, in Norfolk. John Petersen will officiate, with burial in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Norfolk.

Military honors will be provided by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1644, American Legion Post 16, United States Navy Honor Guard, and American Legion Riders.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the chapel.

Bob died Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at Norfolk Veteran's Home.

Robert "Bob' Moore, son of Robert and Erla Mary (Hancock) Moore, was born September 24, 1948, in Norfolk, Nebraska. He graduated from Norfolk Senior High School in 1966. Bob served his country in the United States Navy from 1969 until his honorable discharge in 1977, and was stationed in Bermuda and Jacksonville, Florida.

Bob was united in marriage to Joan Reineke on August 14, 1971, at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church in Randolph. They were blessed with one daughter, Debbie.

Bob lived in Norfolk throughout most of his lifetime and was employed at Goodyear. He enjoyed watching and playing tennis, riding bikes and motorcycles, going to the YMCA, and spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter.

He is survived by his wife, Joan Moore of Norfolk; daughter, Debbie Moore (Dan Stanger) of Omaha; granddaughter, Maya McKenzie Moore; sister, Mary (Rich) Osborne of Norfolk; brothers, Stephen Moore of Colorado and Jeff (Eddria) Moore of Crawfordsville, Indiana; and nieces and nephews.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents.
