Robert Louis Moore, age 92, of Caplinger Mills Missouri, was born on November 27, 1932 in rural Salem Arkansas to Harry Thomas Moore and Nancy Venetia Moore. He passed away on October 15, 2025 at the Lake Stockton Healthcare Facility.
Robert was raised on a farm near Salem Arkansas until the age of 8, when his family moved to Kansas City, Missouri and later to Mountain Grove, Missouri. He graduated from the 8th grade at Morning Sun Rural School near Mountain Grove and began High School at Mountain Grove High School.
In 1949, He left school to help care for the family farm. It was in Mountain Grove where he met Daisy Shannon, and the two married in 1951. Robert was 18 and Daisy 16. Daisy often said they were "born married."
In 1960, Robert and Daisy moved their family to Caplinger Mills, Missouri. Because work in the area was seasonal, Robert found employment in Kansas City as a truck driver for Graves Trucking Line.
