Robert James Morrow

Robert James Morrow, 63, passed away on Thursday, September 4 at Hawthorne Healthcare Center in Indianapolis, IN after a long illness. He was born June 28, 1962 in San Diego, CA to Roy and Elizabeth Morrow, as the sixth of nine children. Robert attended Bloomington South High School and was on the wrestling team. He is survived by his children, James (Collette) Eno, Troy (Kenzi) Morrow, Robin (Kevin) Hill, Sophie (Wayne) Franklin and nine grandchildren, and his companion of many years, Pamela Guess and her sons Jan and Korey. He is also survived by seven siblings, Mary Klakamp, Helen Malin, Denise (Ben) Jones, Kathleen (Doug) McNeely, Linda (Glenn) Mehringer, John (Christi) Morrow. Michael Morrow, his sister-in-law Jackie Malin, and a plethora of neices and nephews. He is preceeded in death by his parents, brother Roy Malin and brother-in-law Donnie Klakamp. Robert was a proud United States Marine and served from 1980 to 1984 and spent time in Japan during his enlistment. When he returned home, he worked as a Bricklayer/Stone Mason. He also worked in construction and weatherization for many years. His work is present in many buildings in the area. Robert was a huge fan of IU Sports and Nascar Racing. He loved the outdoors and also loved to cook. Robert's family are so appreciative of the care he received from medical staff in Bloomington, Columbus, and Indianapolis during the last three years. We are so grateful for their tireless work. Visitation will be held at Allen Funeral Home, 4155 South Old State Road 37, Bloomington, on Friday, September 12 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, followed by a service at 1:00 pm. The burial will take place directly following services at Clover Hill Cemetery in Harrodsburg, IN.
